Week 6 View and Listen

Q Please listen to the Webex recording for this week (if you cannot attend) and submit at least 2 learning points. If you attend the Webex session you will automatically receive the 15 points for this assignment. If You Cannot Attend The Weekly Webex Lecture Although you are not required to attend the Webex live lecture, you will, however, be required to listen to the lecture at your convenience. You will then pick 2 points from the lecture that are relevant or are meaningful to you and the team course project and comment on them. Your submission should be at least one good, well organized paragraph for each point. You can incorporate some of your own experiences or connect your observations to some of the readings that are assigned from the course text. This should be submitted as any other assignment is typically handled. You will not receive the 15 points associated with this assignment unless you comply with the instructions above. If You Do Attend the Weekly Webex Session If you attend the Webex session then you will automatically receive the 15 points. Beginning with week 4 until week 7 that will total 60 points. In other words, if you attend the weekly Webex sessions you will receive 15 points for each week of attendance. If there are any questions regarding these issues please do not hesitate to contact me. I will also post this notice in the announcement section. Stay well and stay safe.

One important point from the lecture this week is the way in which interviews can make candidates feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. This is because there can be negative traits or areas of improvement asked by the interviewer to an interviewee. In such a situation, the interviewee might feed uncomfortable and might also lose confidence during an interview. However, there has to be the use of sound judgment and proper ways of analysing the individual capabilities and experience of the individual in the past workplaces. There must be humility shown to accept the limitations and weaknesses of a candidate.
